===== Starting seeds in Tagro =====

Inside I would be germinating seeds in seed starting mix with a heat mat and grow lights, so I wouldn’t be using Tagro. Now I don’t have those amenities so I start seeds in a raised bed that contains some amount of Tagro mix.

=== Drying out ===

Drainage and evaporation are quicker with Tagro. Without adjustments a seed may not germinate because it never gets moist enough. Solutions are:

  * Mix seed starting mix and/or Earth soil over the area to be seeded.
  * Gently irrigate the area daily (but not too much). Continue  until the seedling develops true leaves.
