Making a walking trail
Aerial view of pathway
A couple of years ago a neighbor asked is we had a pathway along the brush across our property to the street to the west. We knew at that time that the ground was too uneven and the grass too dense for walking.
Cutting a pathway
But we thought this was a good idea, so as it was convenient we mowed grasses and added topsoil thinking that someday we would have the suggested pathway.
Adding soil
A neighbor wanted a berm on his property to be reduced and offered me the opportunity to take the soil. I readily accepted and using my tractor and the box scraper I transferred about two yards to the west part of the trail. This didn't complete the pathway, but it added to the walkaable area.
Clearing brush
As time passed the brush next to the forest reserve grew and spread onto our intended pathway, so we spend a few days clearing brush.
